I've been winging about mine to my mom all day and she's apparently cut them off and i now dont have any :s well what do they look like, anyone have a picture, I sort of have fly away hairs... sorry for a new topic so soon.

Forgive the crude character rendering.  Basically, a split-end looks like this:
