I live in Orlando, and we have some places that sell human and
synthetic...i was going to take a trip to some of them tomorrow and see
what i can find out...like what kinds and stuff...does anyone buy from
places like this or do you just buy your synthetic online or human
online?? Thanks

I have bought synthetic and human hair from these stores.I have yet to buy online.I bought three different brands of human for a full head application and another for clip ins.The clip in hair was the only thing Thats still useable. It was silky straight hollywood.I think it was good cause it was nearly black.I used a french refined texture in blond of hollywood and it was horrible. My experience with synth was short and sweet.I got them disgustingly cheap and lasted more than long enough to do what I had bought them for.But Honestly about human. As much As I spent on all the bad cheap hair I could have bought one really good batch from somewhere more reliable.Like the Young ebony secret I bought. It was $70 a weft(I bought two) And I only wore it for a week. When I took it out I was hoping to save what I could.I managed to salvage only one ounce out of eight.I myself am trying to stay away from this store. But I love instant gratification. Bohyme doesnt cost much more than what I have been paying.I dont recommend buying from these stores unless they carry brands you know are good.I know I went to a store bohyme had listed as carrying it.I was so excited. When I got there the guy looked at me and laughed a little, and was like nowhere has bohyme.Maybe you'll have better luck than me. Its like at hair stores its an urban hair myth.lol
Honestly, I think you'll have much better luck with synth online. I
don't think any stores carry monofiber, and the only thermofiber I've
seen in a store is WaWa (a very limited selection). I would recommend
buying from PlastikHaar. :)

hey ya i went ahead and bought the WaWa from Carol.. although i didnt
get exactly what i wanted i bought... 22inch 27/613 in bulk and then i
bought a 14inch weft of 613 and a 20inch weft of 27..i figured that it
will do what i want... me and my mom will figure it out..like how to
cut and layer it to look awesome....But we are going to order from PH
but it just takes forever to get a weft so i needed something sooner
for my trip to NYC so after i get done with the WAWA prob like
mid July or so...maybe August before college starts back...I will
install the PH...but i am going to order it next week when my mom
decides to call me and back and tell me which color blue she wants!!
and my sister who is 13 will probably want some hot colors too!
A couple of local stores by me carry a decent selection of Wawa, Hot Stuff Fusion, and a couple other brands of therm. Wish I could get PH locally though.
I recently bought some hair from Sallys to tide me over before my PH and HH arrive. I installed 2 wefts with LG glue (not pretip extensions) from ear to ear. It's been a couple of weeks, and the hair looks and feels good. The name is Sassy and it's brown/blondish twotone. I originally bought it to practice with but I'm actually surprised how good it looks! So far it wears good, no tangling, no frizz! I can't remember, but I think it was about $20 for a pack? I would use it again in a pinch!
Actually, the hair store near me does carry Bohyme! It's about $10 more per bag than Ebonyline, though.
As for synth, I've seen a lot of thermofiber in stores, but no
monofiber. They do carry kanekalon silky braid, but that's really only
for hairpieces or braided extensions. Salespeople who don't know any
better might try to tell you that it's good for loose extensions
(or that toyokalon is), but that's really not true. I've worn KK silky
in loose extensions, and the difference in how it and monofiber wears
is immense.
In my local stores they carry limited colors/lengths of WaWa, FreeTress Futura, and ofcourse Sally Futura. They will, however, do a special order for me. I wouldn't try an unknown brand though. I have had too many experiences with it turning to crap, though I did have one single experienc where the unknown hair held up alright.
its ok for some cheap temporary clip ins, but unless its monofiber or thermofiber then dont wear it for loose extensions. however silky straight and jumbo braid are wonderful for braids/dreads
