The question for me is why does she no longer have short hair?  Her hair is past shoulder length now, occasionally with extensions yet she wears it up and a bit funky like she's trying to impersonate short hair at every public appearance I've seen.  Has anyone seen anything about her having to grow her hair long for a movie or at the request of her record company?  I don't think I've ever seen a celeb(other than Scarlott Johanson) go to the effort to grow their hair out and then spend less time actually showing long hair. 

 

Wish she'd cut it off again.

i like the blonde but agree with fatmoogas.She made the dark hair she had look really good.Its so weird to even see her blonde again after so long.And your right it does look like she went out of her way to make it look short.I really love long hair but prefer her with short hair.She has such a childlike face that the shorter hair makes her look older without looking old.

Short and darker is good.  The only thing she's got in those pics that should be longer is her pants :-P .  Not only is it some weird shade of taupe, but it's like a shortsuit, which is just stupid!

I absolutly love mandy moore with short brown hair it just brings out all of her face and her beauty. She needs to hide behind nothing but that gorgeous smile!

It looks good despite being back to blonde.  I just have no idea why she grew it out only to pin it up every day.  My guess is that she's blonde for a movie and doesn't like the color.
