Hey everyone, I've been browsing around the site a tad because I was curious of relaxing my hair.  I'm half Korean half Dutch and I inherited the Asian hair gene "porcupine hair" well not to the full extent.  Since I am half white, it isn't as straight "porcupine effect" isn't as bad as full Asians.  I want to have hair like my dad, which lies down on his scalp.  I guess the only solution is to relax my hair.  Before I go to the local Sally Beauty Salon to pick some up what hair relaxer, which one should I get?  Any other advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks.

Chris

I suggest you get it done professionally. Lots of people ruin their hair with home straightening kits.

I knew a guy with beautiful curly hair. After he used the straightener, it looked like old, cheap, fake doll hair. You're lots better off with your natural hair than with a bad straightening job.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?
