Sorry if my last post was repetitive or sounded like I was only pushing the Curls products (rushing to type msg cause I'm at work). Mostly I think that reading the Curly Q's for kids column would be a good idea for you. There are many good products out there that should work with your daughters hair type as others in this haircare forum will tell you.
Another good resource is www.naturallycurly.com. They too offer reviews, hair forums and expert advice. In particular, there is a monthly column (Q&A) by Mahisha Dellinger founder of a hair care line called Curls & Curly Q's (for kids), which she developed specifically with multi-racial curly /ethnic hair in mind. You can read more about and purchase the products through naturallycurly.com or from the Curls website http://www.curls.biz/index.htm. The products are very good quality (I have purchased for my niece) and several other people I know are now using them in their children's hair. The products are very good quality and reasonably priced. My niece is now free to experiment with her own hair care products and finally leaves her mother's alone.
By the way, my niece's hair: straight at the roots, fuzzy area at the very front that sticks up, wavy curls which when not moisturized tend to fizz.

Hi. I am not biracial but I have similar hair. My hair is very curly and long and very frizzy but I have done lots of research and I know how to style it now. I'm sure I can help you but I need to know how your daughter wants to wear her hair. Does she want to wear it curly and natural or pressed out straight? I know how to style both but they both have very different procedures and products that have to be used.
