I have been growing out my hair for 3 weeks.  Last time I got a cut it was real short.  My hair is kind of like Tim Duncan or Tony Parkers.  After I brush and du-rag my hair just kind of lays down flat.  Should I just let it keep growin out?  What type of pomade should i use.  I have been using Sportin Waves black.

Just keep brushing, and brushing, and brushing. also don't cut your hair until after your waves are formed and don't have it cut too low. Sportin waves is a good pommade, I use the gold can.
