Hiya

Sorry I havent been around much... life calls.  haha.  Just wanted to let you know I browse around though... and Kalikas always watching ;)

Well I got home from work last night and was outside on the computer for a little bit, and took a shot of me in the wig.  its a webcam shot so excuse the crappy quality.

its a human hair wig, asian, very "bettie davis"

 

and just for the hell of it, meet Kalikas big goofy grin

 

 

haha I love the wig though, its very black and Im so pale, I love the contrast.

 

 

Oh yeah, the "itch" part comes from not utting on bugspray last night, I must have 30 misqueto bites on my feet.  even the arches.  so itchy.  ack!

wow you look as good as the wig where did you get that wig from? i thought you meant the wig was itchy...! that looks SO natural!

the local beauty supply store :)  it was $60 for the human hair.  I wanted something more natural, but dramatic styles just look fun on me.

I really like it.Its so completely different than the light blonde you had before but you pull it off so well.Your right it is very bettie davis.Thats a good lookin wig.I have always bought synth wigs with skin parts of course but they never lasted to long being a crappy quality synth and I am very hard on my hair real or not.Makes me want to make a trip to the local wig shop.

I like it too.

I sometimes wish I could muster up the courage to cut my hair really short and buy zillions of wigs (with money from???) and change my hair everyday.

Instead for now I'll live vicariouly through you.  are you wearing this one only?  How long has your hair gotten?  Are you going to put extensions back in once you have enough hair?

Oh boy Kimbearly...you mean you missed the now removed thread about the lip plumper?! Probably best that you did.

Kalika recommended this lip plumper thingy that she uses 'for work' on another board, and she is absolutely right: it works great.

It's not permanent but it lasts several house. You can plump up your lips and not live the rest of your life as a Melanie Griffith freak if you pump too much. Highly recommended.

I just ordered that lip plumper...... can't wait to get it! Kalika.. your lips look quite plump   Weren't you going to show us a before and after of your lips??? By the way.. your wig looks beautiful.  You have a very pretty face, so i'm sure you could make any wig look great!

So others have tried this device?  My vacuum cleaner will not work the same way - LOL?  When we grow older - let's say 20 years from now; our lips won't be hanging down with all of the streatching now - will it?  Thinking about getting it also. hmmmm
