I'm mitch5150 I've ben a haircutter/hairstylist since 1993 just to let you know how much experience I have. I suggest you find a hairstyle that would enhance curls and trim all the split ends off your hair you might think of using a leave in conditioner that will control your hair a little more. when you dry your hair try drying your hair upside down with a difuser on your hairdryer. Don't brush or comb your hair when you are drying your hair the comb or brush will straighten your hair. Use your hands and scrunch your hair until it is almost dry leave it slightly damp but almost dry to the touch and style your hair to the desired style you like. If you have any questions you can email me at customonegtr@rock.com I would be glad to help you out with anything you want to do with your hair.
i live in a tropical country, i don't use a hairdryer to dry my hair. also, when my hair dries, some of my hair turns into frizz..really damaged frizz which has really uneven curls and kinks..do i have to pull them out at the root? coz the kinks are all the way to the root! and not just a few, 1 third of my hair have those frizz..
It's mitch5150. Instead of using a hairdryer you can use the outdoor heat it will take a little longer to dry but I think you'll get the same results. Scrunch your hair outside in the outdoor heat if you have a really good leave in conditioner in your hair your hair shouldn't frizz up. scrunch your hair till it's dry. As your hair starts to dry keep scrunching you will start to see the scrunchy curls start to happen. When dry style you hair into the desired style When you are finished and you like what your hair looks like put some hairspray or some type of finishing spray to keep you style looking good all day until you wash it the next day. If you have any more questions feel free to contact me at customonegtr@rock.com. If this doesn't work thwere are many other solutions out there you can try.
Your hair looks more wavy than curly so you probably won't be able to get it to curl too much unless u scrunch it real well with some gel or another curl product. This might be a strange question but do you use essential oils in your hair? This will cut down on your frizz a whole lot! The oils help to lay the hair down smooth and gives some weight to it so it won't be so fly away and frizzy.
No, if that is the texture of your hair then it's probably always gonna be that way. Don't pull it out though. My hair is always frizzy to a certain extent. I just do what I can to tame it. I use a Pantene leave in serum that works really well.
Also......Dave Decker......WOW is that a picture of you and your hair? How long have you grown it for? It's wonderful! Have you ever had your hair short? I like details!
