I practice the end to root technique! B4 I had a relaxer I was guilty of combing from root to end, unaware of the damage (hmm, that's why all that hair was on the comb )But now I've learned that end to root is better for me, especially when I have A LOT of thick new growth. Here's what I do: Take a wide-toothed comb. Make sure your hair has a type of lotion that u use or hairspray in order to detangle it or u can use the Crowning Glory technique, which is to separate the strands from the ends with your fingers very gently. Next, take the comb and start at the ends, making sure to be gentle. Work ur way to the root, but be careful, and there u go! It's simple but u have to be very easygoing on your hair. For more info on the Crowing Glory technique, visit http://www.growafrohairlong.com/crownandglory.html for more info! Hope this helps! God bless!
