What brand? With most, 18/22 is more ash and 14/24 is more golden or warm. There may be a slight diferance in levels but the big diferance is in tone. But each company is diferent to some extent so check with that company's ring.

I have looked thrugh many of my color rings and 18/22 is the lightest mix on the cool side. The only mix lighter I can find is 27/22 but 27 is warm. I would use 18/22 and mix in some 22. 18/22 is pretty light though. I can never tell the diferance between the 22 with most companys but 613 would also work.
