Retouching highlights...

Hi all,
I have dark brown hair with cool beige highlights (not all over--just on the top layer for a more two toned effect).

I will need a retouch soon--however, finding quotes from salons is hard...it seems like most of them want to charge as much as for highlights, when to me, this seems like a much simpler job.

Can I go to a cheaper salon for a retouch, or should I investigate for a really good colorist?  It seems like a simple job to me, especially since I have one color highlights and not all over.  And there's no way I can do this at home with products from Sally's, hmm?

The reason that it cost the same is becasue it takes the colorist the same amount of time and same amount of work to retouch the highlights.  Don't think of the retouch as the length of your hair that needs to be retouched, think of the amount of hair that comes from your scalp.  The root of the hair near the scalp is where all color weaving begins.   Be careful trying it yourself, it is alot harder than it looks.  We only make it look easy.
