I looked like an albino or something, it was too light. I should have

I like the darker, you look awesome! Your like me. I dye mine every time I see roots or everytime I want to try something.
I'm trying to get mine lighter too. I bleached it out but it turned far
to orange so I dyed it darker, now it's too dark and now I have to
figure out a way to get it lighter. :D Same boat. But it looks awesome,
I like it.
YAY! And it's so long! Mine is only past my shoulder blades and it's in
rather good shape considering I've bleached it 9 times, over a period
of two years. :)
I'm using Pantene Color Revival stuff, in honey blonde. Dont' do that,
it will actually make the color more golden... but it does however
leave your hair very healthy looking. Mine is shiny and smooth. I have
NO splitends.

yeah, now I wanna go back to a light color! hah, I can't make up my mind, it's still real healthy though so maybe after a few weeks with this color I'll go a few shades lighter, not as light as it was before though. Inside it looked alright, but in natural daylight I looked like an albino or something, it was too light. I should have cut my hair before I did it, because my hair was too long and thick when I dyed it
actually, a few hours ago I just dyed it again (lol) my roots were
starting to come in, and I thought it was a little too light. Whenever
I read this message board I get the urge to dye my hair, hah. I tried
getting it back to my natural color, I bought medium blonde at the drug
store, I didn't wanna get any warm or cool shades because I was afraid
it would turn a funky color
It turned lighter than the color on the box, I only left it on for
like 10 minutes because I was afraid of what would happen. But I think
it looks fine.
It's in good condition still, after I dyed it the really light
blonde a few weeks ago I got 8 inches cut off, it looked like this
before (don't mind the pose, my friend and I were pretending to be
models) but yeah before I dyed it I would take a shower, put it in a
pony tail, let it air dry, and do nothing to it really. So it was
really healthy, and almost down to my waist. It got really frizzy
though so that sucked.
I even missed a ton of spots doing it on my own, for now on I think
I'm gonna let professionals do my hair. I hope the color I have now
fades a little though, I think it's too dark now
I think I want light blonde highlights now

I agree with the golden tones being more flaterring to your skin,
however this new lighter color does not make you look dark it
still is VERY pretty. Don't worry about being tan, I think you look
awesome with the pale white skin and the beautiful hair. If you tanned
you would just look like every other blonde tanned girl out there. :)
As to getting to the orange out, perhaps just doing that "AREA" again will help.
Anyways I give you thumbs up. That color would not work on everyone. I wish I could get that color... looks awesome!
Is your hair still in good shape?

oops forgot about this :) anyway I liked how it turned out, but I
don't think I did the bottom enough because it's kind of orangy, but it
doesn't look too bad. Here's what it looks like
The only thing I don't like, is that I look sorta washed out, but I
like the light color. I don't really tan too well. Is there anything I
can do to get the orange out on the bottom? Would I have to dye it
again?
I wouldn't worry abt it turning completely white lol, that usually requires the use of a violet toner...be sure to post pics of the end result! Did u use the "Nordic Blonde" shade? How fun!

well I bought the stuff, and right now I'm like 18 minutes into the strand test. I cut off like 1/4 inch of hair to my root in the back of my head and taped it to a plate, I don't know if that's how you do strand tests but yeah right now it looks sooo good :) I can't wait for all my hair to be this color, it's already like light light blonde, I don't want it to be white though

sorry this is probably annoying.. what does the 30 volume developer bottle look like?
No prob...it's usually a pretty big bottle, normally white thats say 30 volume on it...I don't mean to sound like a know-it-all (lol) but i strongly recommend 30 vol, Longhairdreams cause 20 vol doesn't lift as much as 30 does, i would've recommended 20 if it was bleach tho.
Malibu...before u go to Sally's if u look at the website u can see what the devloper looks like before hand www.sallybeauty.com click on hair, and then haircolor, and there will be another category that says developers and peroxide...this should help.
Happy coloring!

Your right it looks alot more ash toned in natural light.Indoor lighting can look really harsh in pics which explains the gold warm tones seen in the first pic.Yeah your hair is really light naturally.this should be a snap. You'll definitely be able to wear white blonde and well.I just cant stress enough to do a strand test.I think it will work great.I'm no stylist but I dont think you will need a high volume developer. Why dont you try it first with a lighter volume like 20. The 30 and 40 are meant for faster lightening I'm pretty sure. And faster doesnt mean better.Plus your hair is in good condition I'm sure you dont want to jeopardize that.even going a couple of shades lighter is damaging.Bleach or not.Test first. You'll be glad you did.
I have to say you are very beautiful, you look alot like Scarlett Johansson. I would start off with some bright blonde streaks/hilites first to see how you like it.

thanks for helping :) is there a certain intensive conditioner you recommend? I'm going to Sally's later tonight, is it really confusing finding all this stuff if you've never been there before?
