now let me start off my saying that i love britney, me and my mom first learned about extensions when she went short and brown for 2 weeks and then she was long and blonde again. that being said her hair sytlist must be on crack!
and this is why, britney seen leaving salon without her hair, i guess the stylist was trying to blend the long her with hers? and that's why the wefts were so high? are you ready for this http://www.tinypic.com/view/?pic=90rdhz

I've done wefts that high before, it's just a matter of making sure there's enough hair to cover them up. Maybe she's had those in a while, her hair's grown a bit, and they need to be redone closer to the scalp. I can't imagine a stylist would actually do that. I love her with strand by strand.

Oh, I was in Walmart the other day and saw a poster of her advertisement for her new perfume. You can tell it's strand by strand from a mile away, but it still looks gorgeous on her.
Maybe in that first pic she should have used The Sandwich technique!

Everything always looks good in print! If I'm attracted to the add...I'm most likely goina buy it or immitate it!
mocha, i haven't worked but at a salon in like a year and a half, and at the salon i wasn't so worried about being caught on 'fake' hair (especially with pink hair and the like) so now... reentering corporate world... in two weeks... i am starting to worry about my blending and my pinch braids showing lol
if my wefts show like that i think my clients might be 'yucktified' hahahaha
edit: i don't think my boss will say, "oh it's ok, britney did it! jhahahahha

That has to be the WORST job I've ever seen! Not only are the wefts there in front of God and everybody, but talk about not blending! really really really bad!
My newest braider put my tracks in all the way to my face - left no space! And the top track is AT the top of my head! But the amazing part - you can NOT see them! The way she sewed the weft on, it's like a miracle - the weft is invisible, even with the track starting AT my forehead. Hard to explain, but even harder to believe.
So it is possible to put tracks in and have them be nearly invisible, but it takes a REAL pro - like a black woman whose been doing braids on everyone in her family/church/neighborhood (including all the boys on her hs football team) for 20 years, not some Hair Extension Professional to the Stars, for pete's sake. But hey...only the best for our Britney.

Poor Britney. I really think the extensions are part of her subconscious (if obvious to everyone else) theme of her life, which is, she doesn't give a S%it what anyone thinks.
The other thing is, and this really causes me concern. You never see that girl without a snack or a beverage. She's never emptyhanded. EVER. WHy?

Wow, everyone's just ripping away at her. Maybe she just woke up, is hung over, doesn't really care what anyone thinks. There have been a few times when I woke up and went out to breakfast with my roommates and just threw my hair into a ponytail with all of my fusion bonds showing. I didn't give a crap. I was tired and groggy. I also want to point out that just because her wefts are showing there doesn't mean her extensionist did a bad job. I've noticed that they are concealed well when close to the scalp, but after they start to grow out a little, it's easier to see them. Maybe she's on her way to a hair appointment in that picture. Jeez, can't be perfect all the time!
She must have gone with the sew in because she didn't plan on having them in very long. But her roots being so dark and her hair being so oily is what made that happen...two words....."BaseBall Cap"
