Yea you would be suprised at how many people that don't care much about their hair. It gets like that sometimes with all the stress and distractions of life.
I got so caught up with the daily grind of working full time and going to college full time that I neglected my hair and skin.
I had to slow down and think of my health and appearance. Money is great, but it means nothing if you look and feel like 5 day old pizza.
Look to the skies and keep your eyes on the prize! I been through Hell but, STILL I RISE!
Many brothers right now are getting depressed about economic issues and discrimination. It's easy to loose self worth when American society does not value you. You begain to not value yourself or your appearance. I'm guilty of this. It took a lot to pull myself out of this funk.
That's why I want this site to be a place of refuge, a place of enlightenment and peace.
Black men have it the hardest, so we have to encourage each other to take care of ourselves. No one else will.
Big Carl and BiGGMike is one of the many brothers that ignored their hair. I was too caught up with other things. So I feel you big brother, keep posting it make you feel better, I am.
