i dont think waves are ever gonna go outta style, cuz they are so closely associated wit good hair and as long as ppl still regard good hair highly, there will always be ppl wit waves. nebody can grow their hair out and get braids. but it takes determination to get waves. waves are tomorrows future, not yesterday's fad. but its your hair, and u do w/e u want to with it. as long as ur happy.
