Q: I was just wondering if any of you have ever had a hairdresser do something like smack you with a comb or other?
A: No
Q: I mean whether it was playful or if they were scolding you. Or have you seen it happen or know of it?
A: No. Neither.
Q: Oh and while I'm asking, have you ever smacked someone with a comb or hair tool?
A: No.

Was your brother a "handful" at the time? Maybe your Mom
appreciated the "help" of the barber in "trimming his sails" while
trimming his hair. (shrug)
I guess you mean in a joking way only. If someone was annoyed
with me and smacked me with something I'd feel attacked and threatened
and probably throw a hissy fit! I don't think they should do that
though. Even if it's in fun, or joking, people sue over the
stupidest stuff these days. The pain in the butt of having to go
to court over it isn't worth it.
