I'm sure that ACV stands for something I should definitely know, but I
can't figure it out! I read something about clarifying rinses and
stuff after extended use of "cones" so I was just wondering...thanks!
Apple Cider Vinegar = ACV
or some have used White Vinegar.
You put a little bit of vinegar into a large amount of water.
It's like 1/4 V to 3/4 Water. Some people are sensitive to vinegar so
try to use a small amount until you know what you can tolerate.
ugh, I HATE vinegar, lolol. You know what's funny? When I was 14
years old, I worked in a bakery and the owners were really
old-fashioned (cheap) so refused to use any windex or anything to clean
the glass cases. Instead, we had to use pure vinegar.
Anyway, I used to go home stinking of vinegar, and to this day whenever
I smell it, I get really nauseas.
So we just moved into a new place (my family and I), and I bought a
bottle of Febreeze (you know, the spray for fabrics to get the smells
out) to get the smell of smoke out from the previous people who lived
here, and went nuts spraying it all over my carpet. Anyway, after
a minute or two of spraying, I didn't smell the pretty scent of
febreeze. Then, I got this overwhelming whiff of vinegar!!
My carpet was SOAKED in vinegar. HAHAHA, I flipped out. My
mom had filled the empty bottle of febreeze with vinegar for
cleaning. I called her and was like, "You know, Mom, you should
really label bottles when you change their contents. She was
cracking up.
So yeah, that's my story with vinegar. LOL, at least I can laugh about it!

Woah... too much vinegar in your life. I've gone from almost none
to increasingly more (love it in salad dressings and as a
post-conditioner hair rinse). I've heard it has
antibacterial properties (inside the body), too. Good stuff!

So does it really matter which kind you use? I made up a little spray bottle with a bit of white vineger and a lot of water to spray on my hair after conditioner and then rinse. Would apple cider vinegar work any better?
BTW: I really like the vinegar rinse! My hair was really soft and felt super "clean" afterwards.
