Hair Problem

Hello everyone I am having a bit of a problem with my hair. I wash my hair with Fructis (Shampoo + Conditioner) and I dry my hair with a towel and just brush through to make it not frizzy and straight. Now when my hair dries up it becomes really "dry" and frizzy and it gets fluffy. When ever I add Gel,hairspray, or wax to my damp or not damp hair to get it straight and the way I wan't it.. my hair curves a bit. I tried almost every kinda of hair gel, hairspray, and wax but my hair starts to curve. Also last but not least I have a friend who has straight hair, not frizzy, and it never gets messed up by the wind! He never uses gel or anything for his hair. My hair gets messed up in the wind and becomes frizzy. Can someone help me to resolve this problem please. Thanks
