I understand your anger. A lot of times stylists spend their time talking to other stylists or customers and gossiping, sometimes neglecting the hair. But if you have a really good, qualified beautician, and she's getting the job done, I think there's nothing wrong w/ that. And it depends on you and your stylist's schedule. If she penciled u in at a certain time, perhaps she was just busy w/ clients. Sometimes the salons get busy, the stylists can't help that. But if u feel as if u need to change salons, by all means do so. Do whatever is best fit for your schedule and your child's hair

Ok ladies my 11 1/2 year old daughter had a 3:00pm hair appointment yesterday, my mother dropped her off and I was picking her up once I got off work at 4pm. Now I left work late at 4:45pm thinking ok she should at least be in the stylist chair once I get there assuming she would  have just started flat ironing her hair. Oh no I get there and she is still at the wash bowl and I'm told by the stylist I'm getting ready to put conditioner in her hair mind you it's about 5:20pm when I get there. Plus my daughter took a book she just started reading and she finish the entire book, before the stylist even started styling her hair.

My daughter has long and thick hair but all she was getting was a retouch around her edges and at the top and at the nape, we did not leave their until 7:30pm now you can't tell me it take 4 hours to do a childs hair.  What pisses me off is when I see mothers or fathers drop their children off at the salon the stylist tend to let them sit there and do the adults hair, I thought me and my stylist had an understanding, I'm a very in patient person and normally when I or my husband takes her we wait with her to get her hair done and she is normally out in 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

Should I be upset? I also get my hair done by this individual. Should I look for another stylist or should I let another stylist in the shop do our hair, since I notice they tend to get their customers in and out.  Also does anyone know a good stylist in the Denver/Aurora Colorado area?  Thanks for listening.
