I'm not sure if I'm cool or warm.  The color is grown out half way of the length think of gett as much as I can cut off. My hair is short anyways.

If the red looks good on you, I'd be careful striving for any sort of ash blonde.  Ash blonde is usually better suited for cool complexions.  If the red suits you I'm assuming you have a warm skin tone.

Another point to consider - your natural hair color may seem ashy but believe me, the ash color you'll get from the bottle won't be the same.

And one final note - red is very hard to remove.  The blonde you will end up with will very likely have warm tones.

Youi could try a medium to dark ash blond - but run a test strand first.

hey, I had the EXACT same problem

I dyed my naturally light brown hair dark red and I loved it, but every1 else didnt. Soo I went to the salon and had them process my hair and it took at least 5 times with the chemical process(not sure exactly what its called) to get most of the red out. After that the salon dyed my hair blonde, but still having red in it turned out to be a strawberry blonde. I went to the salon again and they did more processes and deposited color in my hair and it is now med to light blonde with only a little red on the ends(hair was very porous especially ends)

I know for sure that the salon is the best way to go considering what all they had to do to get the red out and how they had to specially mix it to get the best possible result. Doing it at home is a lot harder to determine what exactly should be mixed and put into your hair, how long, etc. Plus it would take alot longer doing it yourself. It was alot of work for the salon to do it, it took like 5 hours(ughhh I was soo hungry =P)

if you used feria red it will be even more hard to get out of your hair yourself... that was my biggest mistake dying my hair with feria. It is a very very strong dye and holds to the hair well.

anyway I say salon

good luck w/ w/e u go with =)

Life moves pretty fast. If you dont stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

Hi, all just alittle history on my coloring started with a dark red a year ago, now a redish blonde  I am naturally a light brown.
I want to make it a dark - med blonde.
Would this be hard to do?
I use feria blush blonde currently.

I am debatring doing it at home verse at the salon.
