I haven't tried docs hair. But from what I hear, its okay but not great.
YOu can shop around online for prebonded hair and find some good deals.
but in general prebonded hair isn't fabulous quality. I'm not
sure why. Pretipping yourself isn't that hard.
Everything metalgirlsaid.
plus the thicker your natural hair the higher you need to go up on your
head to get natural blending. but at least your natural hair
should cover the attachments!
The thicker and shorter your natural hair is, the more extension hair you have to add to make it blend seamlessly.
Another consideration is the length you want to extend your hair to. The longer you want it, the more pieces you'll need to add to make it look natural.
As for how many pieces of hair you will need, it would really depend on the density of each hair strand. If it's 'average' density, than I just guestimate, no less than 250, and quite possibly as much as 300 strands. It's hard to tell without seeing your hair.
My sister is a licensed cosmetologist and she is going to attempt to do
linkies on me. I am having trouble figuring out how much hair I need to
purchase. I am getting the prebonded hair. My natural hair is very thick and
it's length is about to my chin. Can anyone offer any suggestions to a
newbie? Please?!?
