Hi girls, I got my extensions!! I got the Cinderella hair.. & it took like 4 1/2 hours to do.. my hair is 20 inches!! anyways I will post pics tomorrow!! i think it looks good but my natural hair is very thick up top and short layers so you can kinda see where my real hair begins & my fake hair starts.. ugh.. but I still love it because i wanted long hair so much...  It cost me 1000 dollars is that a normal price for Cinderella hair??? does anyone know? Well  I will post tomorrow =)

Did you have the extensions applied by a stylist or did you do it yourself? Have you cut some layers in the extensions to blend it better with your own hair?

If it was a good extension job, you should not be able to see where your natural hair starts and stops.

I agree that some layers would help.  Also, for clients with short, think natural hair, you have to go high up on the head and use a lot of hair to get it to blend.

For $1000, I would not just settle for extensions that look like extensions!

sorry to change the subject a bit (it has to do with this kinda ) how far up on the head can you go without revealing the extension method? I have shoulder legnth thin hair shafts but a ton of hair so it looks really thick and it has been extremely hard for me to blend even with long layers. the only time the blending was any good was when you could se the wefts from the top and sides of the head through the hair.

cant wait to see the hair julzz

Life moves pretty fast. If you dont stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

How far up the head you can go depends on the client's hair and the size of the extension attachment.  My own hair is really thin and fine, and I place my wefts arout 1" from the partline.  I back comb and smooth the hair over it and spray with hairspray to keep it in place.  It conceals nicely.

I also teach my clients to to this as well.
