i had the exact same promblem and it has recently gotton a lot better . i have the whole 360 except for about a half of inch on the sides . i realized i brushed enough to get waves but not enough to make my hair lay flat and straight i had waves but they were kinda like a afro texture so i kept brushing to make it straighter so now it lay down a lot better also the softer u can get your hair the easier it will lay flat and straight . when i get a camera i will post pics been working on waves for 2 months and its spinning . pomade wont do it i have about ten differnt pomades ive use two pomades at same time and caked it in after wearing durag for 24 hours straight and after about a half an hour my hair would start rising again.
i will soon be swimming in waves
