1. Vision For Black MEN - Na'im Akbar (Not about Muslims, about black MEN. This book will change your life and answer some of the question in the back of your mind. It will give you insite on what black men should be doing to prepare themselves for life in America.) Must read to survive and stay free!

2. The ISIS Papers, The Key to Colors - Dr. France Cress Welsing (A sister who really understands the struggles of young black males and how they are being destroyed before they can become MEN. This sister ANSWERS TO YOUR QUESTIONS) very good book.

3. Makes Me Want to Holler - Nathan McCall (Story of a young boy who grows up in a world of discrimination and education. It talks about childhood years, sex, compitition with other males, fighting, slang, smoking weed and drinking, music, death of males, going to prison, homosexuality, education, childsupport, fatherlessness and how it's destroying the black race. This is a book every male can relate to from a brothers perspective, not Oprah!) I have read this book 3 times and still learn new things each time, it really helps me!

How about the BIble?

I think that every black man should get a subscription to Black Enterprise, and maybe even Savoy. Don't just grab the Vibes, and XXL's (although I'm FEELING Trina on that cover!)

you do your thing, let me do mine we'll get your b!tch on the phone and we'll see who's lying!

It's that time again. I thought we should start a list of Books/Articles/Journals/Speeches to read for African American MEN. We are all going through hard times and have to deal with all kinds of issues that many other people of different demographics don't have to deal with as much. I believe in self help and improvement on a personal level.

Please feel free to list good Books/Articles/Journals/Speeches to read for African American MEN.
