I noticed some split ends on my hair today (who says three hour classes aren't useful?  ) and, since my next trim isn't until October, I'm thinking of doing some S&D.  How often do you guys do this?  Also, I remember someone mentioned a link on choosing scissors...can anyone point me to it?  Thanks!

hahaha,, i do this about every month or so or
whenever i get the urge,, if i had been going for trims
man my hair would be short now!! SEARCH AND
DESTROY!!!
Hair type: 3b some c?, fine strands, last relaxer sept 05, never again!!! current :ap length on sides,,nearly bsl in back, damn those old frazzled ends! I am hair OBSESSED

Well, I searched.  No scissors, so no destruction. *g*  Although, given this professor, it's hard to say what he would have been done. I know it's bad manners to play with your hair in public, and I'm normally an alert, attentive student...but the class ran from 3:30 to 6:00 on Monday afternoon and my attention span only holds well for a fifty minute class.

According to my trim chart I have done 6 sessions since March of 04. I did not do any before that.

About once every month or two.  It's been about 2 months now.  I really need to do another S&D session.

ok, I must be obsessed lol. I do about half an hour every night. With scissors, just make sure you sharpen them regularly. \And check up the hair shaft-they travel.
