Hi there guys, three weeks today with the Lush Hair.  Its weird but its been even nicer this week, seems to have got smoother and sleeker for me, its looked really nice this week.  I haven't lost one shrinkie and in three weeks only one has come out of a ring and that was at the back of my head so I think that was probably my installing.  I'm 100% pleased with this hair, its lovely, still no split ends but tangled a little last time I washed it but it did have a lot of hairspray in, maybe I didn't get that all out xx

OK, I have almost a complete head of Lush Hair in . . . the hair compliments have begun to start again. . .(I was gradually replacing that RK Garth hair with this). I'm installing it with fusion. I have found that 1/2 of the amount of hair in each tip makes for more natural looking extensions, for hair like mine, which is fine. I will post pics later. . .

All I can say is this hair is THE BEST hair I've had since Great Lengths -- THANKS AMM!!!

Im reporting in at 3 weeks with mine. I have Boyme #22 and Lush hair #613 installed.

The Lush hair is holding up far better than the Bohyme. I have always heard wonderful things about the Bohyme, but Im hugely disappointed in its performance. I would suggest to never buy the straight Bohyme if you like to curl your hair. Its very frizzy when you use a curling iron to curl it. The ends of the Bohyme are FRIED after 3 weeks.

The Lush hair is holding up well....performs just like the Korean hair from hair21 that I was so fond of. The ends still look good and no splits and no frizzing.  So far the Lush hair gets my thumbs up!

Hi there Amm, I'm positive that's what you've done with the razor, I can't see there ever being any split ends with this hair, its so flipping strong its unbelieveable.  I think 150 strands per bundle would be perfect.  I counted mine and there were 110 and I'd say 85% fit into extentubes so at 150 they would all fit into extentubes.  I tell you something my extentubes feel really really firm with these tips in, far better than the latex and nail glue I usually use with them.  That would be fantastic if you could offer the fresh hair product on your site also.  xxxxxxxxxxx

marie, no I do not have EP's color ring but I do have a color ring for
this stuff and I'm in the process of doing a color chart so I can post a
photo. I've already got the fancy colors done and made into a jpg.
It's time consuming to make sure they photograph in the right light to
show the true color. I'm holding each strand up to the monitor and if
it's right, I save it. If not, I start over again. I know all monitor
settings can be different but if I at least start with it matching my own
then I'll feel better about getting the true color represented.

This whole process is very frustrating. There's language barriers and
I just don't understand the outrageous shipping prices. It certainly
doesn't cost that much going *that* way.

Amm I can't wait do you have Ep's color ring for soft wear? There blond mixes are very prety!!! I allso use there #7 alot.  I'm glad you are going a bit smaller because most that want extensions have fine hair and putting a large peice on is alot of stress. I allmost allways end up with 150 tip's per 4oz 18 inch bag, so that souds great to me I can't wait to find out what there treatment is like. Just excited to try it and happy for ya girl! You have all the bases covered

Thanks Amanda!

The same report here at about 6 weeks wear. Hair still looks very
natural but not quite as smooth as the first couple weeks. By no
means is it ready to come out and be replaced. A few split ends to
report but I razored recently and my razor was dull and I'm sure
that's what split the hair shaft.

I've had a couple shrinkies slip out. No residue of any kind (from tip
or shrinkie) is left on the hair when that happens. If I use the wand
to remove one, the tip residue does reheat and transfers to one's
hair and that does need the remover. Again, tips are reformed right
there with no need for retipping.

I've had good feedback on the tip size. Some like it 100 strands per
bundle, some want the tips smaller for rings. I'm going to go right in
the middle and request 150 tips per bundle so they're still a good size
for shrinkies but will fit for those who like rings. If anyone wants the
bigger strands, they can easily put two tips together, tap with the
wand and spin them for the size they want. This seems easier than
splitting too large a tip and making two out of one.

The smoothness issue on the hair is one of typical "coating" after
processing that eventually washes out. The supplier is going to send
me what they use that protects the hair after its been processed.
Having that "new fresh hair" look and feel may be a product we can
have all the time.

I've been staring at the color ring for days making a list of what I'm
going to order. If anyone has a shade and length they know they
want, drop me a note so I can make sure its in the order.

Well its two weeks today and still no tangles, no snags etc.  The hair has no split ends and still looks good.  It is however taking a bit more work to keep smooth but I think you get that with any extension hair.  I took four out that were in with shrinkies just because I like to wear my hair up at the front and I'd gone too high and couldn't.

I pondered on them with my straighteners and then pulled the strand out and then took the shrinkie out.  Doing it this way leaves a big chunk of residue.  I tested this residue one side of my head (2 strands) with acetone and the other side of my head (2 strands) with shrinkie oil.  Neither worked!

How I got it out was I heated up the chunk of residue and smeared it slightly down the hair strand.  Then I tried acetone again one side and shrinkie oil on the other side and voila the shrinkie oil side, the residue came out a breeze, the acetone still didn't work.  You still have to really work the shrinkie oil in though as normal.

This brings me to the conclusion that the inner part of these hair tips is tipped with something that acetone doesn't remove but shrinkie oil does.

The best thing by far is the tips didn't even need to be reformed, they came out as they went in and I've never had that.

Thumbs up for removal x

I've washed this hair six times now and it will be two weeks Saturday and its still as nice as when it went in.  My hairdresser LeeLou says this hair looks like real hair if you know what I mean.  The fine tooth comb still goes straight through it when wet and I used Tigi Oatmeal and Honey Conditioner and it seemed to lay way smoother this wash after blow drying.  No tangles at all reported yet and its still big hair.  I've lost one extension still, lost none that were in shrinkies.  No split ends and hair still feels smooth xxx

I've not had any problems fitting the majority of these tips into medium extentubes and in a week I've just lost one tip that came out with the extentube from the back of my head, probably my installing rather than anything else.  I've usually lost more by now.  None of the tips I installed with shrinkies have come out at all and they don't look like they've budged.

I personally too had to cut the majority of the tips, they were just that bit too long, I've probably snipped a quarter off them, that's all though.

I've had my hair in a week.  I've washed it four times, will probably wash it the fifth tomorrow night as I have a client tonight.  When I washed it a few nights ago I slept with it damp in a plait and when I woke up and took it out, it had left the most beautiful wave in it, so I just pinned back my bangs and let it flow, it looks beautiful, all my clients commented on the fact that I had the "boho thing" going on and it looks lovely.  This wave is still as strong three days later.  What's strange is I curled it with the big barrell ceramic curling tongs the day I installed it and went out, put a light spray of hairspray on it and it held all night but it doesn't seem to want to hold the curl of the curling tongs anymore, I don't understand that.  I have to put loads of hairspray on now, but one of my clients has learned me to curl it with my straightening irons so I think that will hold better xx Still no tangles or shedding xx

ok so far i think the thickness of the hair itself is great.

the tip is Very large and it wouldnt fit into a tube without me first putting it in my flat iron then spinning it with my fingers to make the tip smaller. the tip is also a bit longer then i am used to but cutting it would be no big deal. i want the same amount of hair, just not such a thick tip.

i will wash it tomorrow and report back,

it does feel real silky and no tangles either!

side note- Amm, so far you rock with the shrinks and i am excieted to see this hair be a hit,

oh and NO shedding either!!

Cool! I want feedback on it, ok? I mean HONEST feedback even if it's
bad. I'm not emotionally or otherwise invested in this hair yet so I
want to know its overall performance from tip to end. It won't bother
me a bit to hear it's not working for someone.

What do you guys think is a realistic expectation on the wear of this;
the length of one install (3 months average) or longer?

I am washing this constantly and using hot tools almost every day on
it. It's taking its toll. It's still tangle free and shiny but it's not silky
like brand new. My suggestion now would be wash when it's needed
and use plug in rollers whenever possible.

ok so i got some to test as well,

i wanted to install them with the dinkiy links, locs tubes what ever u want to call them,

anyway the tips are real big so i used my flat iron to heat it and then used my fingers to spin them smaller- it worked very good, i them installed 6 in one of my stylist and 8 in my hair- they feel very silky and soft and thick, i love love love how thick they are! they are twice the size of ANY hair so far. i will also keep posted of results. (which i am sure are going to be good)
