Hi I am Melissa Jessica, and I live in Norway. I am going to visit Washington State in October, and are looking for a stylist who is awesome at exstentions? I havent really decided on a method yet, so I am open to all types.
I'd love to hear some prices too, i know that it isn't easy to say a prise without a consultation, but just a "hint" on how much it may cost.
what's up i live in tacoma
honestly, go to boogiemama.com and contact her asap for an appt. she's in
seattle, and she is booking up fast. i have a consult with her this week for a
full head of heat seals.
she does heat seals with synth or bonded wefts for human hair. the heat
seals are supposed to last 3 months and are only 300-400$ (her prices are
on her website)

I have to second the recommendation for Boogiemama, if you're going to
be anywhere near Seattle. She is awesome. Her website has
great pictures and tons of info.
I will eventually moving to WA, and so I am going to start working out of my friend's salon in Puyallup, WA on selected days, by appointment only. I'll be there next on Oct 25-26th.
I do heat seals, shrink links, extend magic, weft bonding, seamless wefts, and pinch braids.
I am so confused what to do about my business in Shingle Springs! This town is so small, I can't find a good location for a salon. The last place I looked at was a cute, but shared a parking lot with a tow truck company who had junky cars and car parts all around our building. I just can't see asking my clients to step over car parts on their way to see me.
So currently, I still rent my small room in the nicest salon in our town. It kills me everytime I go to pay my rent, I am paying $750 per month for a room that measures 60 square feet. It's not even enough room to stock all my supplies.
My husbands parents live up in Washington, so we have often thought of moving up there to be closer to them. Also, it's so beautiful, green, and much cooler in the summer time. I suffer terribly each summer here in CA, when we get 100+ degree weather for days on end.
I am thinking of actually working in both places. We are looking to buy a house up in WA, but then I could fly to CA and stay with my mom to service my current clients here.
The move won't happen overnight. I want to have some clients there before I go, and my hubby and I have to find a house with acreage, so we will have space for my donkeys, Sonya and Valentine, and the Great Pyrenees monster dogs, Alexa and Frazier. (the dogs in my avantar picture)
Anyway, we are leaving to drive to Seattle today to visit the in-laws. Also, something interesting, my husband is going to meet his birth mother for the first time, so that's very exciting! He didn't find out he was adopted until he was 30 years old, and got a call from one of those 'we find people' agencies. He was so shocked, he let 7 years go by, and now I guess he feels ready to meet the birth mom.
OOO - Metalgirl, you will have no competition here in WA! (boogiemama is moving) I live in Seattle and let me tell you boogiemama is the only good extensionist at a reasonable price. And the only other method you can find here is GL (natural looking) dreds are everywhere! Although Puyallup is a little far.
I'll have to go check your site again now! I really want to try that EM!
Melissa - it depends on what method you are looking for. But if you want strand by strand like I said above, boogiemama (affordable and great work) or GL (a pretty penny and possible damage)
and amm - are you sticking around, and what hair are you using, and what colors, and how long..... all the details!

Oh. My. God. That IS a lot of news!
Best of luck with your trip. I hope it all goes well.
Things have a way of working out for the best, and I know that whatever you do, it will be the best decision.
Good luck!
WOOHOOOOOOO!!!! Going straight to the
master, I see! Are you flying up for the day or gonna swing that hair
around Seattle for a coupla days?
The other half and I were supposed to spend a few weeks in the
south just driving around and exploring but with the hurricanes, we
decided it was safer to go elsewhere. He's been wanting to go up
toward Washington so while he's thinking about fishing, etc, my mind
is going "boogiemama boogiemama boogiemama!" I hate to take out
this install so early because the Lush Hair is lookin' mighty fine right
now but how often does one land on boogiemama's territory? I had
no choice but to book. :)
