QuoteReplyTopic: Lace Front Wig UPDATED PIX Posted: October 10 2005 at 11:29am
Has anyone ever ordered lace front wigs from Jeff at Juyiart in China?
I am thinking about ordering some wigs for personal use and
wanted to know about hair quality and delivery times? TIA
BTW, Is there a separate section for questions about lacefronts?

I am in the ordering process (beginning stage) and we have been emailing each other back and forth. His hair quality and performace is Great that is why I'm ordering? Are you a member of another hair forum?
P.S a separte question?? You already started the topic....its cool here IMO of course
Oh I meant is there a separate section? I didn't know if a lacefront
question would go in the Hair Extensions board. Hope the lacefront
wearers see it here...
i received my lacefront wigs from Juyiart today. For some reason he
only sent me 2 wigs when i paid for 3! I got one loose curly and one
kinda wavy. Hopefully he will send me the 3rd one and not try to rip me
off. I say TRY, because he won't get away with it.
Anyway, the hair seems nice quality, but I requested bleached knots..
And I guess I don't know what bleached means, because i didn't know
they would be white/gray hair. The hair around the hairline is white
/gray at root. I tried coloring it black even tho he had told me
earlier that i could not color the hair because of some process they
had put on it, he said "it won't take color". Well he was right, when i
put black color on roots, the hair turned blue. lol. So i guess i will
just cut the hairline section off when i cut lace on wig. I didn't get
babyhair around hairline, so i don't think it will mess up to cut like
that. Here is a pix of the curly wig. the wavy one is too short for me
so i will get rid of that one .
The curly part on the side is where i wet it. The rest is just as it came, fresh out box.

I'm not even gonna lie and say I like it cause I don't (to each their own) BUT what I will say is that its a shame that they made it hard for you to color now or in the future. And why is the sides really thin?? Is that what you asked for??
i asked for light density.
What don't u like about it?
re the coloring issue.. that is my fault. I requested Indian remy
hair, but i DID not say VIRGIN UNPROCESSED. That's what u need to
request if u want the hair unprocessed so that u can color yourself.
And if wans't for those GRAY roots in front, i wouldn't need to color
it at all. I had only inquired about coloring (before i received it)
cause i was thinking the color would be wrong, but he did get the color
right; except the front hairline.. Which is probably my fault too cause
i did ask for BLEACHED knots, and they look bleached to me, bleach
means light i guess.. Ignorance on my part probably
Monet, I see u posted my stuff on the BHM board. hmmm...
Anyhoo, can u tell folks that i am NOT unhappy with the wig at all. I
don't know if my post (that u copied) gave the wrong impression. I was
only giving information.. The bleached/white knots is what i
asked for, i just didn't know they'd be white! I think i cut that part
away tho, so no complaints about that either.
And may be naive, but I do think i'll get my other wig from Jeff.
If not, i will be refunded by my credit card. So i ain't jumping out
the window.. yet.
Yeah I told them that and I will tell that what you just told me? And thanks for not bein that I posted your pic so many of us was waiting for one of Jeff's pictures. I hope you get approved on BHM
Also for the info on processed and un-processed hair cause I was mad for you for a second knowing there was nothing you could do about the coloring in the front.
What about some ol fashioned hair color spray ?

FYI, i got a light density and i'm pleased with that. It's not too
light tho, lite to medium. It did a lot of shedding right out box, so i
knew it would lose some in beginning. It's btr now after wash. I really
love the density.. it looks very natural and is SOOOO light. My other
lacefronts required thinning, this one wont.
HEY THIS IS COOL, REPLYING TO BHM POSTS ON HB BOARD.. lemme iin BHM!!

Monet: thanks for posting my replies on BHM . I haven't heard from Jeff
yet. It's early AM in China, so he'll probaly email me aroudn 2am EST
like he usu does. I hope he hasn't sent the 3rd wig in sep. packg
already. Cause he had wrong zip on the ones i got today and i had to
drive 'a piece' to go get the pckg at Fed ex. So i hope i can catch him
to give him correct info so next one will come to my door.

I'm not sure what Monet is seeing but that wig looks cute to me. Have you tried it on yet? I think it looks good even the light part by the roots looks cute, like some kind of highlights or something.
My friend had an issue with a discoloration around her lacefront hairline and she used a marker. Or maybe you could try Bigen, i think Bigen just adds a deposit on the hair.
I typed too soon about darkening the knots.. I thoguht it turned blue,
but now that it's dry i see that's just dark black (which is the color
i used on it). So that worked! BUT since the wig hair color is actually
BROWN, it still stands out being DARK black at root. So easiest
thing for me to do is to just cut the lace off and cut that hariline
off too. I was gonna create my own hairline anyway, so i just need to
cut back past the bleached knot part. Fortunately he only did that
bleaching around front and ear hairline. He didn't bleach hairline
roots in back, and didn't bleach thruout wig. So by cutting off the
bleached part i will be cutting off a tiny bit of lace w/ hair
attached. But i don't think it will affect the fit any. I have only
been able to try the wig on over my Bliss tracks, and it seems to be a
good fit, but I'm sure i can stand to take off a bit in front cap and
not miss it.
ETA: coloring/darkening the bleached/white knots is a breeze. I found
some dark brown hair color in the stash and I tested that, and it
colored nicely. I don't know why Jeff said the hair wouldn't take
color, unless he meant as far as lightenig it. My experience is that u
can always DARKEN.. anyhoo.. I"m pleased. PASS IT ON.
