compliments

Y7's are so sweet sometimes. I was at the bus stop and I was combing out my hair (hey, gets me an extra 5 min in bed) and they started going, "Ahh, I love your hair, it's so pretty" and stroking it and then one of them said, if my hair was on them, it would be really really long and I checked and it would have come down to their thighs or something. Anyway, the long and short of this story is, they think my hair is gorgeous and have given me tons of compliments about it. Other people have done that too if I'm combing it out somewhere.

Do other people have these reactions? (or am I the only freak who combs her hair at a bus stop...)

(One of them also said, "You're tall and thin. I want to be like you." which although not related to hair, made me feel pretty good as you can imagine! lol)

I got a 2 compliments last week, both on my hairstyle, but otherwise I usually only get compliments on hair forums.  (One day it was a braided bun - I can do them now! - with hairsticks; the other time it was a french twist with one of those bent over hair picks in the top that looks like it floats above your hair).  I don't know what Y7s are either - kids?  That was sweet of them to gush over you, you must have felt like a queen!

Aren't kids lovely? My eldest son (who is only 3 and a half) often says "Mummy, you have lovely hair".  He also says "Mummy, you smell really nice"    Just want to eat him up!!! LOL

But, yes, I get compliments. It's on the colour mostly, but sometimes on the curl too.  It's nice, makes me feel good. One day I might get compliments on the length......that'll be really nice
