Well, I finally opened up my Extendmagic this morning, figuring I would need hours of practice before I got the hang of it and to disect the instruction manual.
My biggest problem? The plug didn't fit (not US compatible) so I used an extra adapter I had laying around.
I can't believe how easy this machine is to manuever. And there is no mess at all! First I tried pretipping a few strands with the Extendmagic with some hair still on a weft. That was a breeze and I made them so small that I couldn't even see the glue. Then I took a pretip and placed it where I wanted the extension on my head and pressed the trigger on the Extendmagic machine and it closed down on my real hair and after three seconds, the trigger released itself so I didn't have to count or wonder if I held it down long enough using the right amount of glue. The machine purrs like a kitten and easy to use for someone lefthanded and awkward with their hands. (me)
I will post pics after I fix the camera. I am going to try the Braidmagic next! This Extendmagic is well worth the investment.
Thanks to the person who first posted inquires about this machine and got everyone interested! Thanks Amanda and Charlene for trying it out first. And to Darren who called me a few times keeping me interested but not being pushy for a sale! I love it!!!!
I'm going a week and a half strong with my pre-bonded install and I have to say this is the comfyest most undetectable method I've worn yet. The bonds are crazy cos they are dead sturdy but flexible and you can get loads of hair in a little bond therefore making a diy self-install a lot quicker than any other method, more hair, less bonds! I have also done Lee Lou with this machine but not pre-bonded, just straight onto the hair. Although we still had the baby hair problem for which I have a velcro guard on its way, she's nearly a week and a half going strong too and she says they feel fine and comfortable too. So we'll let you know which is better either pre-bonding first or direct with the machine xxx
I am also liking the EM. I have found it easier to use the shoelace tip hair instead of lose hair. When I used lose hair I got some shedding, but none with the shoelace tip hair.
