You know, I would assume that pretty much any product that has alcohol in it would dry out your hair. I know they used hairspray at the salon I used to work at to take out haircolor stains from clothes. I asked a stylist about it and she says it pulls the color out of the clothes (imagine what it does to your hair!) But then someone else said that it just stops the stain from forming...so I don't know:)

Although, most formulas today are a lot more gentle than they used to be and more companies have stopped using alcohol in their products..Hmm you know what? I don't know why I'm even answering this..I don't really have an answer! hehe Sorry! :)

Did you search for that answer on Google, Kirsty? I think there's
probably a lot of info out there on that if you look.

Kirsty,  as for being actually bad,  I guess it's relative.  But I strongly discourage hairspray use with human extensions,  because it doesnt' come out in the usual 5minute shower.  You have to rinse your hair before shampooing for 3 minutes or so to melt the lacquer off your hair, which I think is too rough ultimately with extensions.  I also think that when the spray comes off it takes the protective coat off human extensions faster than it would wash off otherwise.

You also breath it in (yuck)...... you have to make your own decisions there.
