Wig wearers

I just got my first wig...it has been one of my dreams to own one. It took me a year to finally find one that I felt looked natural and compliments me, if I must say so myself.

Anyways, I have a few questions for those who wear wigs or know people who wear wigs.

1) How do you wear your hair underneath, do u use a pretreatment before putting it on?

2) How often do you wear yours? I plan on wearing mine on Fridays and Saturdays?

3) Do you wash your wig? I washed mine after I purchased it because you can try on the wigs at the store and no telling who wore it and with WHAT in their hair.

4)Also, do you wear a stocking cap or anything under your wig?

I only washed it  right after I purchased it...because customers  can try on the wigs. So I made sure, mine was clean.  Well I only want to wear my wig on saturdays and I can't cornrow. But I asked someone today how they wear their hair when they wear their wig and they told me that they wear their usual style but with a  wig cap and then place the wig on. It will be too much manipulation for me to cornrow my hair for one day and then take it down because I want to not wear the wig the next day. 

O yeah, I have a regular wig I guess it has alot of spiral curls so you can't see my hair line cause the curls dangle all over.  

The wig have 2 hooks in the book....look kinda like bra strap things do you know what they are for? I think I'm going to remove them.
