aye, can mixed cats get waves??? My momma is mixed and my daddy is black so i dont know what that makes me........ back when my hair was long this girl that braided my hair said it was "too good" so it took extra long and they wouldnt stay in as long as regular braids like on tha sides of my head wher it was shorter i guess.... So if my hair is too good for braids that mean its too good for waves too?

it doesn't matter if you are mixed. your hair texture makes the waves. check the posts to see if your hair is right for waves. i am mixed. 70% african descendant, light skin brother with thick curly(nappy) hair. waves are straightened out curls.
what is good hair? black people have good hair. don't fall victim to the eurocentric idea of blacks having bad hair that's a bunch of B/S.
we black people as well as the rest of world have been conditioned to think that way. the world is dominated by the caucasion race. check the post on books from BiggMike. he dropped some knowledge as well as me. i dropped a lot of books on that post.

This is true 100%. People of color have been fooled into thinking that our hair is bad. What's bad? Bad is whatever negative characteristics white people define it as. NOT!!!

Cheech05 it depends on your hair texture. Try some of the 360VET Methods, one may work for you. I don't know what kind of hair texture you have. If it's too straight, you may look at another hair style, I don't know.
