Question

Its not difficult at all...you just need to be very careful and patient. All you need is acetone and pliers. By the time you are at the 3 month mark the bonds should be starting to soften and maybe even a few coming out on their own...they should be starting to breakdown on there own. The night before you can load up the bond area with alot of conditioner or even olive oil, and let them soak all night or several hours.That will help soften the bonds, but not necessary. All you need is acetone and a pair of pliers. You add a few drops of acetone to the bond then crunch with the pliers...the bond should crumble. Then you carefully comb out the glue bits and the trapped hair. The important thing is dont pull....if there are spots that still have a chunk of glue...add more acetone and crunch it again. And take it real easy working out the tangles. By 3 months there are bound to be some tangles and little matting in the bond area...but take your time working them out with either your fingers or a rattail comb. Patience is the key in not doing damge. Sometimes I think its less damaging to remove your own...since you can feel and tell if you are pulling your hair. And depends on how careful your stylist is....oh...and as you get closer to the 3 month mark watch for matting in the bond area...I can never make it quite 3 months with fusion. Mine seriously need redone by 9/10 weeks

see if you can get a friend to help you. As a professionla to take down a full head of fusion takes me about 1-2 hrs, i take my time so that No hair gets broken.

go slow and when you feel like you are gonna just rip them out, take a break, get a martini and rest for a few

you can put them back in right away- i usually do a good wash on clients a good condition and then reapply- dont condition too long or your hair will be too soft and they might slip out faster. if you are going to wait a few days- do a real deep condtioner- i like purologys deep condtioning treatment, leave on for three mins.. then reinstall in a few days.

Can I ask...what is Cinderella hair?? Is that a type or a certain method?? Can someone explain this please :) THanks!

I love the quality of Cinderella Hair and my friend wears it on a regular basis and much longer than she should. But it still holds up very well for her. I wore it for several months and it remained sleek, smoth and tangle-free.

Sherrie- I was under the impression you had to take "classes" or whatever to be able to order Cinderella hair? hmm I didnt know you could just go to a website & buy it??

Skye- This is my first time to get extensions.. So, I dont know the diff. yet    but, I do know that they are still soft  & I never get really bad tangles.. and I honestly dont brush it as often as I should.. lol =)

& I havent experienced matting.. but I've only had mine like 3 months Dec 2nd...

P.S. I do know they take FOREVER to dry (maybe its bc i got the 20 inch hair)  hehe
