pmp4lfjmike's Method
1. Wash your hair with shampoo every day if you want (don't use soap on hair)
2. Next get a lil pomade in yo hand, a lil, and rub it on your hair while your still in the shower
3. Brush your hair while there is still pomade in your hair after your done showering
4. Let it dry, Brush your teeth or something.
5. Get a hot rag and lay it on your hair for a while and then repeat step
6. Use any pomade after the hot towel, but for me I use sportinwaves in the gold can or when newly cut, I use 360 scurl
7. And after you are finished, put your wave cap or du rag on. I use a durag cause it's better to me
8. After your have done steps 1 - 7 and 30 min have passed, get a hot rag and lay it on your hair 2 times again so you can get that smoothness going on!
After you have been doing this for 3 years and 5 mounths and have never broken your pattern you will truely understand what 360 Spinnin is all about. Spinning is a Way of Life, why not make money while spinnin.

No we don't, because hair care, skin care, and pride in African culture was lost through slavery.
Now if an African tried to share African hair care secrets and a bit of culture with an African American, they wouldn't listen anyway, only a few would. We are disconnected completely from Africa.
Africans used natural moisturizers and oils to preserve their hair andskin from the hot sun. You can go to East Africa right now and see beautiful women with long healthy hair. Not all of them are starving walking in the desert. Some of them actually have beauty secrets that have not been stolen...........yet.

In a way i understand what bigg mike says, and i am happy someone
finally respects where i am from and not every one lives in damn huts!
My grandma is an accomplished business woman and owns at least 5 in
shops lagos, nigeria. Any way us nigerians use alot of natural oils
from nuts, fruits, and vegetables. We have something called haw cream
that controls ya hair to the point and u will own your hair. A lot of
the things she sells she sends them over to my sisters and i use them
too when i had a fro. rite now i use haw cream, natural beeswax, carrot
cream and proline shampoo. and i dont struggle wit my hair as much as i
used too
So you sporting wave too. It would be very interesting have list all the natural products there are for waves. I know there are some African products that can help get waves.
What's your method if you don't mind me asking?

i jus started wavin weeks ago but they r comin in alot faster than i thought. AT night on weekdays bcuz of school
I use a soft brush b4 i get in the shower.
In the shower i use proline shampoo (every other day) and
brush (everyday) i out with a hard
brush and clean my self up after.
At first i used Indian Coconut oil to soften up my hair( usually at an international food store).
THis isn't important Then i started using beeswax oil at
night because even if i roll around in my sleep it won't dry out even
if u dont use a doorag( i still durag of wave cap anyway). So i dont
really use water( (except in the shower). on weekends
after shower in the morning i wipe my hair till its ALMOST DRY. then i use haw cream(its
like an african version of doo gro) its all natural. grandma got it.
it keeps my hair down.
then i brush with a soft brush and doo rag (all day)
weekdays in the morning i use carrot oil and cream. then i brush with a medium/soft brush like a mad man till i get 2 school.
My grandma said i dont need sportin waves or pomades because they r not
important. she also said keep my hair soft but not too soft. it should
be smooth
i dropped all the other products i bought.I really use have been
serious with it and it is paying its worth. very high maintainance
Nice method. Honestly, I don't use sportin wave that much myself. Maybe once or twice a week. I'm learning more from you guys on how to take care of my hair. I don't claim to know everything, so I'm open to new methods. Natural products are good. Different methods are good. Change is good.
