Okej so finally my Package from DocLocs arrives and i put in my extensions with LG...the front wich i did my self blended awsome..but just at the part you could see the wefts REALLY good....now since my hair is between 1-2 inches blending is hard but i managed it okej..then when my mum did the back well...

it did not blend at all..you could se ALL the wefts in the back and it was Mullet Time O.o so i removed them and ripped out a total om maby 32 strands of my own hair..:(

now im stuck with LG Residue and i do not have a remover... So i was thinking of bleaching my aftergrowt and maby applying the bleach to the LG resiude? to you think it will make it go  away?

Any Replies would be Greatly apreciatet^^ love

Did you remove ALL the wefts or just a couple?  I found it much easier to get the leftover LG out when there were no wefts on my head.

What I did was after taking out all the wefts using acetone, I massaged some of the LG remover (which is apparenlty just mineral oil) into my roots and left that in overnight.  Then in the morning I put loads of conditioner in there, let that sit for about half an hour then rinsed whilst slooowly combing out the glue with a fine tooth comb.  It took a while and tugged a little and lots of my own hair came out with the glue (but I THINK that was mostly just natural shedding as I'd had the wefts in for 4+ weeks) but it did the trick.

If you don't have the LG remover, I think leaving conditioner in overnight would be equally effective.

I took a couple of the wefts out and re-glued after two weeks cos they'd come loose, and I got rid of the glue that time by working it out with acetone as I found it easier to avoid damaging the other bonds that way.

Hope that helped and wasn't too confusing!  x

Also you could try olive oil to get the gunk out.

anything oily usually works. Leave an oily product on the residue for several hours or overnight and it should come out pretty easily.

Personally...I use acetone and work out the glue residue with my fingers mostly and a fine tooth comb. I just feel like Im gentler with my fingers than the comb....so I work most of it out with my fingers and any tangles before using the comb.

Do as the others suggested for removal. Don't even think of putting bleach on your hair until the glue is out.

Wow!  What an experience!  Yes, almost anything, including colored shampoo will stain bleached hair if left on long enough.  Glad you got it out!
