Thank you to Laura for bringing this to my attention.
There is a problem with Lush Hair #2 that I am currently discussing with the supplier. The hair bleeds after shampooing. It will not bleed by merely being placed in hot water and allowed to sit - it does take some action with soap and water to get it to run off in the water. I opened several different bundles and one bled and one did not. The one I wore also did not.
If you have purchased this hair, please wash it before install. If you already purchased and haven't worn it and wish to get a refund, contact me and I'll happily exchange or refund for you.
ive already put no. 2 in my hair. what will happen if it bleeds. I was just going to go over it with a rinse anyway as my real hair needs to be darkened a little bit
In the very dark colors, some are bleeding and some are not so you'll need to assess your batch when you wash it. Just wash it well in your regular shampoo (or even a clarifying shampoo) and warm water and rinse thoroughly until it runs clear. Do this a couple times at first and get the excess out.
The hair is perfectly fine otherwise and stays vibrant and soft in spite of this. Just watch the rinse during initial wear.
Again, anyone who has #2 or a darker color and has not installed it yet, feel free to contact me for a full refund. I find this problem completely unacceptable.
