Got the weft thing going on but shortly going off.  Had a terrible blunt cut and it's a cross between Gilligan and a red-neck with a rat tail.  What are the recommendations for a cut that isn't super layered but keeps the length.  Why would an experienced stylist cut extension hair any differently than regular tresses?  Charlene

First of all, to avoid the mullet look, you need to use enough extension hair, placed high enough on the head to get the proper coverage.

When I cut extensions, I am trying to avoid cutting blunt lines, because blunt lines in extension hair look choppy.  To cut extension hair, I use either a razor, texurizing shears, or I point cut with my regular shears.  Experienced extensionists know that blunt lines make extensions look fake / unnatural.
