That sounds like a great idea.

This is stick hair so it's not meant to be put in like nail hair. You can do it but it won't last any duration. Also, this was being done when the hair first came in as 100pcs per bundle. Now it's 200pcs to accommodate rings so the tips are smaller. They'll have even less staying power than they did before. Under a shrinkie, though, they'll cast off just the right amount of stickum for ya. :)

Thats exactly what I'm talking about gena.I would install similar to fusion to get the size and consistency but overlap with a shrinkie so I dont shed .Plus I can still remold the tip when I take it out.

Yeah...I'm still a bit puzzled?

On another note...I had a dream last night about my girlfriends extensions. I was taking my Lush tip and giving it one good press into the natural hair with my wand. Then, looped the shrinkie over and enclosed....It was a beautiful install!

When I woke up I thought Hey that may work?!

I have worn shrinkies quite a few times now,and it seems like I can never quite get them small enough. And I always make rediculously small tips, and use the teeniest amount of my own hair.I'm gonna try it out.It seems like a good way to get them less detectable. It can be hard to make shrinkies a natural as fusion. This way I think I could get the tightest smallest bonds possible. It would be the look of fusion with shrinkies.I love how fusion looks. But I hate to waste hair.So this could be the best of both worlds. It might not work but it couldnt hurt to try.

Longhair...I'm confused?

I did mine direct fusion(no shrinkie) Worked well, but needed more glue for more staying power. The tips are fine as they are for shrinkies!

Sounds pretty good.Maybe my next install I'll make fusion bond and then cover with a shrinkie.

But when you fiddled the tips out of your hair, did they hold up and stay together at least? Have you taken any of the others out and if so, have they held together?

Gina...what's with your avatar?

Hey Sherrie...

I took mine down at 5 weeks. A lot of bonds(especially my sides?) started slipping and I'd mess with them untill I worked them loose.

I'm thinking by adding more glue over the tips they'd last longer. I'm due for a new install...I'll find out then!

Hey Gina...how did the lush hair do with installing it that way? Did the bonds hold up well? Ive thought about installing some that way, and just adding a bit more glue to the tips for better adhesion. Anyone else try it??

Yeah...I did my last install that way. I would reccommend adding more glue to the tips for better reinforcement.
