If its all half a centimeter, how can it look patchy?  Did he really keep it all a half a centimeter or did he mess up and go too close in some spots? If not, maybe you just have cowlicks that make your hair grow in different directions (sticking out some places, laying flat in others) making it appear patchy.

I went to get a hircut yesterday and i wanted it cut low but not really really low like my babrber usually cuts it. He said that  my hair cant get cut like I want  (about half a centimetre )  because it looks patchy at that length. Funny thing is that he was right.

 

Why is this so???
