Hi Lyris, I did the same thing as Liz Naz and it worked great. I have thick, wavy hair and dried my hair out from constantly blow drying it when it was soaking wet and not using the right products to protect it when I was *frying it*, I mean *blowing it* straight. This took a toll on my long hair and it got to the point where it was so damaged I couldnt get it to look good anymore - strawlike ends. I had 2-3 inches cut off to get rid of the damaged brittle ends and learned how to properly care and protect my hair from heat. I wore my hair up for almost 4 months to get my length back. I stopped blow drying it (unbelieveable for me) and would let the front bangs down - they are chin length, and would pull the rest of my conditioned coated hair back in a high pony tail and secured it with a soft scrunchie. I bought these fun claw clips at Sallys and Ulta that has styled hair attached to them and clipped it ontop of my ponytail. They look great and it took me 5 minutes to do my hair each day - so easy! Some of them where spiky, curly or straight depending on the look I was going for that day. No one ever knew it wasnt my hair in the back and I would get alot of compliments, it looks very feminine and sexy. It was the only way that *I* could get through the growing back process with having it look great and leaving my hair alone at the same time. I still use the hair clip ons when Im not in the mood to do my hair or in a rush or if its humid or just want a fun sexy updo!
