Could be the Malaysian method or something like that.   On the Lisha Coleman site she has a few methods where you make the track and sew in the hair in one step.

sounds like a track and sew.  if done right its one of the safest methods to attach weave.

I have had extensions for over two years....after reading this board i couldn't figure out the technique that i get done...

the girl that does my hair kind of does like rows (not sure if it is braids or not....but i am assuming it's not because she does it really fast)...i have one closer to the top of my head then another near the bottom then she just like "sews" the hair in with just a needle and thread....is this called pinch-braiding or not?  i'm just really confused...
