LMAO@ Pokahontas. Shes even thinking about getting purple tips put on that mess. But is it just me or does Keshia Cole look different everytime we see her?

I agree with sistaslick they don't give alot of helpful advise and I am so tired of seeing hairstyles that I know clearly used a weave. But I do like looking at the pictures and getting hair ideas.
LMAO yea Nieva's neon orange weave was a hot mess...but last month's SBH they answered a letter to the editor that asked about the whole weave thing, and SBH said that they don't specifically ask the stars if they use a weave but if they volunteer the info they note it in the magazine so regardless of whether they use a weave or not they post the hair care routines. Which I guess makes sense not everyone is comfortable divulging that info.
and there is a comedian with a straight look but i don't know his name...if i remember I will let u know
I think you may be talking about Katt Williams, the guy that played Money Mike in Friday after Next. I have the biggest crush on him. He does have pretty hair.

I use to read SBH but stop reading them. Why pay $5 to see the same people on the cover. How many times do I need to see Kelly Rowland, Beyounce, and Mary J Blidge on the front cover. They can't give me hair tips because someone does their hair for them, so why try to fool me into thinking they shampoo and blow dry their own hair. And don't even get me started on the "The Hair Advice" sections. They have the same generic Q&A. They don't cover the real problems black women face with their hair, like bad weaves, hair loss, bad color, dry brittle hair, etc. I am sure some of the stars have experienced it. I am not trying to look like a Video Dancer or look like I am performing on stage because I can't wear none of those hair styles to work.
I just remembered... Locs with coloring- Elephant man, Ying Yang twins
I think I'm out of men for now
edit to add
Curly look could be natural/texturized- Genuwine, B5, b2k
Straight look- snoop dogg, ronald isley and there is a comedian with a straight look but i don't know his name...if i remember I will let u know
moreHarold Perrineau, Terranc Howard, Reggie Hayes, Wyclef Jean, Sean Paul, Bobby Valentino
...ok I'm done now
Hey Cmesweet,
I found some great shots of Snoop. His hair looks pressed at the top with the braids. Is that what it is? Or does he use a kit? I think you said he pressed it.
I was talking to a friend of mine who actually got to interview him about a year ago but she had no clue about his hair when I was asking her about it. :-) She said it was braided back then as well but straight at the roots.
Thanks for all your help.
That which doesn't kill you makes you stronger or drives you totally insane. :-)

No problem Karen...
Snoop has a loose curl texture to his hair...so his roots may look straighter. I do know, however, that he sometimes presses his hair to get the straight look. I hope that information helps.
snoop has to be pressed... he can go from fro'd to bouncy shirley temple ringlets, to puffs in seconds
and yes nivea with those purple tips being next on the list The way she was talking, it just sounded like she hadn't the slightest inkling how to care for hair. I think her advice was "keep your hair trimmed up" Gee thanks nivea!!!! NOT!!!!!! and the purple tips were her husband's idea too
I don't read them anymore but I found that SBH and Black Hair (a UK one) were the best two, Hype Hair was ok if you were looking for a new style but there was no content, and they mostly recycle the same hairstyles over and over.
