I'm thinking of going to a stylist this weekend and seeing about how maybe they might blend some of the weirdness together.  My hair is quite thin on top and pretty short so I was having a time getting the extension part not to show too much so I put the extensions further up using the reverse method of putting them on (see previous post) and it mostly hid things.  Maybe washing it in a couple of days will help also.

from what i can see, you have the wefts way high up and a bit of your own hair sticking up on top, your hair will have to be very layered to blend them way to the top part of your hair. I think layering the whole front would help too. Angle cutting it to give it demension.

And try flat-ironing your bangs, part of what you're seeing is a texture difference between the two types of hair.

Don't have a flat iron but I bought some "high gloss" spray that's supposed to make it shiny.

I wonder if washing it could help calm it too.  I put the wefts up high because there was no way that my short hair was ever going to cover the wefts so I sandwiched two wefts, one reverse and then one straight under it to make it not stick up so much, and then glued a tiny bit of the weft that ended up on top down to the bottom half.  It worked pretty well...just not sure about the back yet.  Hopefully, a stylist can do something with it and HOPEFULLY, my boyfriend willl let me do it.  He hates extensions as it is and couldn't believe I paid $400 last time to have them done BUT I only paid around $40 total for hair and all the supplies this time and it was my birthday money I used.

I wear my wefts high on my thin hair, and what you have to do is tease and hair spray your hair on top to conceal the wefts.  Also if you hair spray your top hair and pat it flat down onto the wefts, it will also be more concealed.

I have an appointment tomorrow to get it layered and looking "more natural" as the girl called it on the phone so hopefully she'll be able to help me get the top part concealed better somehow.

Thanks for all the suggestions
