I hope school is working out for you. For some reason i don't even remember this topic. Anyways, I feel u with them stealing stuff. When i wore my hair in an afro puff, my advisor asked me what kind of hairstyle like that, thats different, i like it, how did you get your hair to look like that. I told her, ummm I just grew it out my head.

Alot of people have seen so many girls with permed hair that they think everyone's hair is naturally straight, even tho some of us do have naturally straight hair. It's sick, they want to bite our style after they tell us how ugly it is or its not professional or make laws to outlaw our stuff, then they wanna go and get the same thing, ex...tans, butt implants, lip enlargements etc.

I was speaking with my counselor yesterday and she noticed that I got a hair cut. She liked it and asked how I got it like that. I told about the brushing and such and then added this is one thing white people will never be able to take from us.

I laughed and she just looked at him, sorta confused like.

I use a Hollywood Beauty and an Annie medium brush. I use the HB during the day and the Annie right before I put my durag on.

I started about a month and a half ago. My hair grows quick when it's short so I've had 2 cuts since late September...I guess that's about right.

I know man, I play dominoes all day if I'm not writing or drawing. I mean if it weren't for those three things I'd be pulling my hair out...or...you know what I mean.

On another note if I don't have some sort of "spinnage" by 12/2/04 I'm bussin' heads. I hadn't put a brush to my scalp in almost two years before I started waves. My hair was natural. This mess HURT! I'ma straight hurt some feelings round here if aint nothing there on my next cut. This is some ish to go through just to be pretty. Better be worth it.

I know college isn't hard but it's a big change from high school. I was use to going to class taking a nap and being happy with my D's cuz I knew I was smarter than everyone else. When I got to college I saw I was doing basically the same thing, but with a little bit of effort I'm making A's. The worst thing is that it's not a challenge. I hear people complaining about writing a 3 page essay analysis or 10 page history paper. That stuff is easy to me because all I do is write. The day when I can't turn in 2 page paper for a 5 page assignment and not make an A, then college will be worth the dollars.

Chess...when I start spinnin I should be put on the Team just cuz. I'm not tryna take away from anyone else but yall dudes don't have to go through nothing but the process when you getting waves. I hear it from my everybody asking why this and why that. Just from all the crap I've had to put up with I oughta be on the Team with my buzz cut. But really I hope one day that just somebody be like "Damn that girl there spinnin!" That'll make it all worth it.

u know...when i was in high school....i had like c's and D's, and now I'm at the top of 2 of my classes....college is not as hard as what people saysit is....you just have to eliminate distractions.....sometimes friends can be in the way
