What up, I'm bout to get my hair cut and I just recently started gettin waves ya know but I know their not deep enough to when I get my hair cut they will stay. I usually get a "even steven" (dats what we call it in Pittsburgh) which is even all around but I don't wanna lose the waves so what can i tell the barber on how to cut my hair?

tell him you want it dark w/ no scalp showing, even all around.

Basically just tell him u want it dark high enogh so u can see the waves

tell him to go with the grain,even all around is nice or dark ceaser
waveing is mental a barrier u must over come
