Hey everyone!
I am going to be getting extensions shortly (doing it myself). I am going to use the shrinkies method. I was wondering if anyone on here that has had the shrinkies method done or knows a lot about it could advise me on the aftercare of extensions.
I am mainly looking for what kind of products are best to use. Like what Shampoos and Conditioners are the safest? Does anyone have a list? And also, what about a leave-in-conditioner, good/bad?
If anyone has any helpful hints that can give me I would really appreciate it! Thanks so much, you all are amazing!
Hi there chick, check out the aftercare instructions on my website, they should help you, with regards to shampoos and conditioners, just never use a 2 in 1, I advise my clients to use whatever their normal shampoo and conditioner is but if the extensions start to feel dry then change the shampoo and conditioner. This advice is just for bohyme extensions and lush, I know for some extensions like racoon extensions you have to avoid shampoos and conditioners with protein in them as they dry the hair out. Also for leave in stuff I'd recommend the purology range or dove hair silk is a good conditioner for hair extensions x
My name is Shiryand I am new to this thread. I have gained my training through Marcella Ellis, Inc and I have learned four techniques from her. I have been continously researching on informative information on hair fusion and came across this board. I mostly perform extensions such as sew ins on african american hair. I would like to perform it on all types of hair.
Pink paradise good luck on doing your extensions. I have not tried the shrinkies yet, but I will give it a try. I have clients lined up for January.
Sorry about the font tangles and anyone else who had a problem reading it! It comes up looking large on my computer....geez I wish I was more computer oriented! LOL!
