Hey guys, thanks for the advice! I left it as it is... Well mostly. I trimmed it a little myself and cut the front strands a bit shorter to see what that would look like... I'm quite happy with the result :) I'm going to let it grow now :P.

I would leave as is, you have beautiful hair! If I was you, I would grow my hair back out to as long as it was in the pictures to the left. But if you want bangs, long-side sweep are the way to go.

I agree with Inicole!!!!  Long side swept bangs and some long layers would give your long hair somewhat of a style, instead of just having long hair.

Your hair is simply GORGEOUS. Why mess with a good thing? If you insist, I'd for for some LONG layers (face framing). If you're bored, play with makeup!

As is, long... or even longer if you want it.  Side or center part.  Beautiful.

I think you should leave your hair the way it is. You are a beutifull woman and I just can't picture you in any other hairstyle...

hi! i am not sure if you have cut your hair or not yet.... assuming you havn't seeing the overwhelming "leave as is" choice. But I have a suggestion... You have very pretty hair and it looks like you have had it all one length for a long time. I think it would look good if you cut in some layers. and you could cut in some longer side swept bangs if you are not sure about full on fringe and you want something different for your hair. You'd be suprised how much layers can change the look of your hair without changing the length. And layers will also make your hair feel lighter.

Here is an example of  side swept bangs...

Hello! So I've been wanting to cut my hair and for a change ask for something a little more adventurous than a trim. I've had bangs and short hair in the past, but in the very distant past, when I was very very young.

I was about seven, and this is what my hair was like:
shortness

When I was old enough to tell my parents that I did not want a boy's haircut I decided never to wear my hair short again. So from age 10 onwards I've had long hair and no bangs. Recently, I've been thinking of either cutting it short and/or getting bangs (a fringe). So I need advice as to whether to cut my hair, and if so whether to get bangs (and what kind).
my hair throughout the years

This is what my hair has looked like for the past two years. At the moment it looks like the last picture on the right.

So, what should I do?
