Shampoo and Conditioner

Hey Happy New Year everyone!

I am planning on hopefully doing my shrinkies extensions this upcoming weekend, as long as everything arrives on time!

I was just curious if anyone could recommend a good shampoo and conditioner for my hair after I have in the extensions.  I know of Pureology but I was curious if there were any other more simpler, cheaper, lol, brands that were ok to use.

I use Garnier Fructis Fortifying Sleek & Shine shampoo, and Pantene Full &
Thick Conditioner. I also use Sauve hair gel and hairspray, and drugstore
hair silicone serum on occasion (I use some styling paste/balm from the
salon, but that's my only salon product!). Cheap, and they're the same
darn thing as the more expensive brands.

Paula Begoun has a book out about hair products, and it's great. I also
get her newsletter with product updates. I've used the $$$ stuff from
salons, and I still struggled with EXTREME hair static... I looked like a
clown. The stuff I use now really keeps my dry hair in check, cuz there's a
real lack of humidity where I live, so it's a concern at the top of my list.

I don't know if my products were the problem, but all the strands I do
lose are from my first microring install from way over a month ago. I
haven't lost a shrinkie yet. (I'm using Amm's, along with her lush hair.
^_^ )

Am also wondering the same thing and I'm UK based.

I just went and bought Biolage shampoo and some Infusiom leave-in stuff and have Pantene deep conditioner to use (leave in for 3 minutes and rinse out).   Is this pretty okay to use on extension hair?

The Pantene 3 minute conditioner will be fine on your extension hair (but
avoid the roots/bonding area if you've got microrings, linkies, protubes,
and the like).

I almost bought that same conditioner today, but bought a whole load of
other Pantene stuff (that conditioner wasn't on sale, but the stuff I bought
was, and I'm a sucker for sales ^_^). I was having some problems with
my 22" Lush looking kinda scraggly & rough; I'm not the best at styling,
and I was washing every day for a while there, and shampooing pretty
vigorously. Oops, heh heh.

Tried the Pantene Blonde Expressions Satin Polish Finishing Creme (whew,
say that ten times fast!) and the Pantene Smooth & Shine Styling Milk,
adding a bit of each to my hair right when I got home, and even with just
the little bit of product I used, they did a good job at smoothing
my hair and adding softness. Yahoo!

Ah, I love saving money.
