QuoteReplyTopic: Few Questions!!! Need Help Posted: January 02 2006 at 9:24am
what's good yall...I'm new to this site...trying to keep the waves I do have flowin :) I'll have sum pics posted soon...but I have a few questions I have if anybody can help me
1) I noticed dat the top front of my hair is a different texture then the rest..Is there anyway I can get waves in dat section of my hair?
2) I have been using a hard brush and I notice when I do a few things happen.... a) My hair does get wavy faster but at the same time it causes my hair to be very tender when I wash it feels real sensitive..Should I switch brushes(currently I'm using a medium brush) b) When using a hard brush even if it's greased or whatever..I tend to still notice my hair gets dry after a hard brush but never with any other brush? Is there any reason for that?
3) Is there any pomade that's the best out?? Currently I use 360 pomade grease? Are there any better then that?
thanks yall and I'll be very active on this sh*t cause to me..my hair is everything :)

1) u have to brush tat area more, and grow ya hair out. u can use da h20 meth when ur not doing anything , put water on ya head and brush it dry then tie it up, never use a hard or med brush wit water cause it could cause baldness later in years.
2)u can use a med brush, but also use a soft brush more. When hair is cut jus use a soft brush. When hair is long use a med brush jus to brush ya products in ya hair, but after u brush da products in ya hair use da soft brush for more time to keep ya waves from getting crooked.
cause the products are being pushed out to da top o fya hair so it looks like its dry, im not sure if tats da answer, im guessing
but yeah hopes dis helps

except the med brush is allmost like a soft and it is not as hard as a hard brush u can u use it in the shhower its not that powerful to pull ya hair out hard is and i think the best pomade is sportin gold but i dont use pomade no more
it helps quicker curl ya hair up and waves are straightened out curls

WHEN U BRUSH IN DA SHOWER IT MAKES YA WAVES MORE UNIFORM AND KIND OF GIVES IT A SHINE BUT I GOT A QUSTION FO U MY DUDE WHAT YOUR HAIR TEXTURE U SAID AT THE TOP YOU NOTICED THAT U GOT DIFFERENT TEXTURES ALL AROUND YA HEAD SO IF YOU CAN NAME THEM I COULD HELP U OUT A LITTLE MORE.I WOULD SAY EITHER MURRAYS OR SPORTIN WAVES (BLACK OR GOLD CAN)ARE GOOD POMADES BUT I DONT USE POMADE ANY MORE I USE CARROT CREAM, OLIVE OIL, AND THE H20 METH
DIFFERENT BRUSHES FOR DIFFERENT TEXTURE
NAPPY HAIR= HARD BRUSH
CURLY HAIR= MEDIUM BRUSH
MEDIUM FINE TO PLAIN FINE= SOFT OR SUPER SOFTY BRUSH
I USE A SOFT BRUSHESECAUSE SOFT BRUSHES CAN MAKE WAVES DEEPER, AND CONNECT BETTER BUT WOULD TAKE LONGER FOR U TO GET AN COMPLETE 360
NOW TO CONNECT WAVES BY BRUSHIN WIT SOFT U HAVE TO BRUSH THE LONG WAY AND TO MAKE DEEPER U HAVE TO BRUSH DOWNWARD
all the areas of my hair are I say wavy like I feel the waves comin in on the sides and the back...now as far as the top area..it feels real real straight almost as those there's a lot of grease there...the top is always like that no matter how much I wash it or whatever...
and what exactly is the H20 method???

^^ yea at this stage u don't need a hard brush. it can hurt ya hair and scalp if not used properly. i used to use one but had to give it up because my scalp became so tender. use a combination of the soft and medium brush and use a soft brush only while in da shower.
the wave game is a game of stategies, methods, and experience to become a champion!
